『シラフ——美術批評誌』では、現代美術、美術批評、また芸術をめぐる現代思想に関する論考およびエッセイを広く募集しています。

本誌では、基礎的な学術的規範を尊重しながらも、思想や内容、そして文体において、ラディカルかつ批評的な原稿を歓迎します。既存の議論を整理するだけでなく、独自の視点や問いを提示し、芸術をめぐる思考の可能性をひらく文章を求めています。

投稿原稿には、以下を含めてください。

・要旨（Abstract）：日本語200〜400字、英語150〜250語
・キーワード（Keywords）：5〜7語
・引用および参考文献（References）：Chicago Style（The Chicago Manual of Style）に準拠

投稿された原稿は、編集者が本誌の趣旨および編集方針との適合性を確認したうえで、掲載の可否を判断します。

投稿に際しては、原稿のWordファイル（.docまたは.docx）と、レイアウト確認用のPDFファイルの両方を添付してください。

現代美術、美術史、美術批評、視覚文化、芸術をめぐる思想・理論などを対象とした、独自の問いと議論を持つ論考を募集します。

批評 / Review

批評は、投稿および編集状況に応じて随時公開します。

分量の目安：
日本語：4,000字以内
英語：1,500語以内

展覧会、作品、書籍、芸術活動、文化的・社会的事象などを対象とした批評を募集します。

Submission

SHIRAFU: Journal of Art Criticism welcomes submissions of articles and essays on contemporary art, art criticism, and contemporary thought related to art.

While maintaining basic academic standards, the journal particularly welcomes writing that is radical and critical in its ideas, arguments, and style. We are interested in texts that move beyond simply summarising existing discussions and instead propose distinct questions, perspectives, and possibilities for thinking about art.

Submissions should include the following:

Abstract: 150–250 words in English, or 200–400 Japanese characters
Keywords: 5–7
References and citations: Chicago Style (The Chicago Manual of Style)

All submissions will be reviewed by the editors, who will determine whether the manuscript is appropriate for the journal’s scope and editorial direction.

When submitting, please attach both a Word document (.doc or .docx) and a PDF preview of the manuscript for review.

Article

Articles are published twice a year.

Recommended length:

Japanese: 10,000–30,000 characters
English: 3,000–8,000 words

We welcome substantial articles on contemporary art, art history, art criticism, visual culture, and theoretical or philosophical questions related to art. Submissions should present an original question, perspective, or argument.

Review

Reviews are published on a rolling basis, depending on submissions and the journal’s editorial schedule.

Recommended length:

Japanese: up to 4,000 characters
English: up to 1,500 words

We welcome critical writing on exhibitions, artworks, books, artistic practices, and broader cultural or social phenomena related to art.
